Move your account

Move where your account's data lives, right away or at a time you choose.

1. Open Data residency under Account settings

   The page names the region your account's data lives in now.

2. Choose a region under Move to and press Review a move…

   The regions your account can move to are listed. The one your account already lives in isn't offered.

3. Choose when, then confirm

   Move straight away, or pick a time. Either way you see what the move involves, including any events on sale, before it starts.

   Once the move starts, writes pause for up to ten minutes while the cutover happens. Pages keep serving the whole time, and Data residency shows the move's progress.

4. Cancel it if you change your mind

   Press Cancel this move on Data residency any time before the cutover begins. Once the cutover starts, the move can't be canceled.

   Data residency says so. You can still cancel it before the cutover, the same way as a move you started yourself.
