Order notifications

Get an email when an order comes in, for the events you choose.

Your accountSettings

What you can do here

Each person on your team chooses their own order emails, in Edit profile under Notifications. You can set one choice for every event, change it for any single event, and choose how often the emails come. Your choice is for the account you opened your profile from. If you're on two accounts, set each one from inside that account.

You're offered the events whose orders your role lets you see. If you lose access to an event's orders, its emails stop. If you're given access later, they start from the next order.

Until they choose for themselves, the account owner gets New orders for every event, every 15 minutes.

Sending to someone not on your team

Account settings then Order notifications sends order emails to one address, for somebody who isn't on your team. It has its own address, language and choice of how often, and covers every event.

When something needs your attention

Tito emails you when something goes wrong that you need to act on. A bank transfer paid an order the wrong amount, or arrived for an order that was canceled. A buyer was charged twice. An invoice for a purchase order couldn't be made. A scheduled message didn't send.

These emails go to the account owner and to everybody who gets New orders for that event, each in their own language. When a webhook is switched off after it keeps failing, the owner and everybody who runs the account’s settings are told. You can't switch these emails off on Notifications. The address in Account settings gets them too, and gets the ones about money even when its order notifications are off.

Good to know

  • Each person's emails are about one event. When orders come in faster than they chose, the ones in between are sent together in the next email, a line per order. The first order after a gap is sent straight away.
  • Each order in the email links to that order in the admin.
  • An accepted invitation is an RSVP in these emails. It says who is coming and with how many guests, and links to the invitation. A free RSVP shows no money. When orders and RSVPs come in together, the RSVPs are listed after the orders.
  • Each person's emails end with Change what you get, which opens their own Notifications. The emails from Account settings link back to Order notifications.
  • On an account that set up order notifications before people chose their own, the owner starts with the old Send at most choice, or with nothing if order notifications were switched off. If the old Send to address belongs to somebody on your team, they start with the same choice, and the old setting stops sending to them.
  • Orders from before people chose their own emails are never sent.
  • Test mode sends your team none of these emails.
  • The first sale on an account gets its own email, once. It goes to everybody who gets New orders for that event, and to the address in Account settings if its order notifications are on when the sale happens.
