Delete or archive a ticket type
Take a ticket type out of your event, and keep the tickets people already have.
3 steps · About 1 minute
Tito does one of two things, and tells you which before you commit to it. A ticket type nobody has bought is deleted. One that somebody has bought, been invited to, or asked for is archived: it comes off sale and out of your ticket list, and the people holding one keep their tickets.
-
Open the ticket type's own page
Your eventSet upTicket types -
Choose Actions, then the entry it offers
It reads Delete ticket type or Archive ticket type, depending on what has happened to this one.
-
Read what it will take the ticket out of, then confirm
The confirm step names every bundle, portal and embed that stops offering the ticket.
go.tito.io/acme/summer-fete/admin/ticket-types/1?delete=1A ticket type is archived, not deleted, as soon as anything records it.A sold ticket, an invitation somebody was sent, a ticket request, an order in progress. Any of these keeps the type, so the record that points at it still reads back.
What archiving changes
An archived ticket type comes off sale and leaves your ticket list, your event page and the API. It also leaves any bundle that granted it, any portal or invitation list that allocated it, and any embed that listed it.
Its own set-up stays: its price, its price ladders, its questions, what comes with it, and its ticket design. You can read all of it on the ticket's own page, but you can't change any of it while it's archived. Restore it first, then edit it.
If you restore a ticket type it doesn't go back on sale automatically, and it doesn't rejoin the bundles, portals or embeds it was in. Switch it on when you're ready, and add it to those again yourself.
Find one you've archived
From the ticket list, open the filter menu and choose Archived. Each one has a Restore on its row.
