Getting started

Moving from Tito Classic and Pro

What happens to your data when your account moves to the latest version of Tito.

Data from previous versions of Tito will be available in the latest release, mapped to the new features where appropriate.

Tito Pro pages that sell only some tickets

If a landing page on Tito Pro sold only some of an event’s tickets, it arrives as an audience page selling those same tickets. It has the landing page’s name, and its address is the one the landing page had, under the event’s own address. If something on the event already uses that address, the audience page gets a new one. You can find it under Audiences.

You can rename the audience page, change its tickets or delete it, as with any audience. See Audiences.

A landing page that also asked for approval, a code or an approved email address doesn’t move over as an audience page.

Your event page’s address and look

An event that moves from Tito Classic keeps the address it had there. It arrives on the Classic theme, which looks like its page on Tito Classic.

To change how the page looks, open the event, select Customize, then the Look tab. What you publish there shows at the same address. See Customize studio.

Your event website and contact email

If an event on Tito Classic had an event website, or showed a contact email on its page, it arrives with a piece of Content under the ticket list on the event page. The piece links the website by its address and the email so buyers can write to it. You can edit, move or delete it like any other piece. More on this in Put your own writing on a page.

Upgrades

Upgrades on Tito Classic arrive as optional add-ons under Offerings. Each one is offered with the same ticket types, at the price each ticket type charged on Tito Classic, with the same tax. Somebody can add one for each ticket, as on Tito Classic.

An order that bought an upgrade shows it as a line on the order. A ticket that was given a free upgrade after it was bought shows it as a line at no charge.

Two kinds of upgrade arrive without being offered with any ticket:

  • An upgrade that includes an activity with a limited number of places.
  • An upgrade with tax added on top where the tax on one upgrade isn’t a whole number of cents.

Past orders still show them. To sell one, connect it to its ticket types. See Sell extras alongside tickets.

An upgrade’s image doesn’t move over.

People who registered interest

Everyone on an event’s register-interest list on Tito Classic arrives on that event’s Mailing list, with their name and the date they were added on Tito Classic. They aren’t emailed when they arrive, and they don’t need to confirm their address again.

A list with names on it shows a Name column, and you can search it by name or email. People who sign up through a widget give an email address only, so their name is blank.

In the list’s download, the agreed_to column says they registered interest on Tito Classic. To write to them, see Widgets.

If an event on Tito Classic listed links on its page, they arrive in that event’s own footer. A link to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X or YouTube shows as the network’s icon. Every other link shows in a list, in the words it had on Tito Classic.

To change them, open the event, select Customize, then the Frame tab. See Add your website’s header and footer.

Links to a phone number don’t move over. To show a phone number, add it to the footer’s Small print.

The event shows its own footer in place of the footer links your account sets for every event. To use your account’s instead, open the menu beside Footer on the event’s Frame tab and select Use the account’s footer.

Your RSVP lists

Each RSVP list on Tito Classic arrives as an invitation list with the same name, under Invitations. Everyone on it arrives with their name, email address and answer. Nobody is emailed when they arrive.

  • Someone who booked through their invitation shows Claimed, with their order.
  • Someone who said no shows Declined.
  • Someone who said maybe, or hasn't answered, can still claim their tickets.

Each invitation offers the tickets it offered on Tito Classic, up to as many as one person could buy of each there. An invitation with its own deadline keeps it. An invitation with a discount code arrives with the discounted price set on it. If the code could only be used a few more times, the invitation is limited to that many tickets.

Someone you emailed from Tito Classic shows as sent, and sending a list's invitations doesn't email them again. Their link from Tito Classic opens their invitation in the latest version.

Invitations that weren't on an RSVP list, such as waiting-list offers, don't move over.
