Getting started
Going live
What to set before you share an event's link, and where the event can be reached.
What you can do here
Your event page is live from the moment you create it. Set the event up as you'd like before sharing the link.
An event you made by duplicating another one is the exception. That arrives as a draft, with a Publish step of its own. See Run the same event again next year.
What's on sale
People see the ticket types marked On sale, a switch on the type's own page. You can build and price a new type first, then switch it on when it's ready.
When to close registration in the event's Settings closes registration for the whole event at once. It starts on When the event ends, which follows the dates you set, and you can pick your own moment instead.
Where the event is reachable
As well as your own address, your events can show on Tito's shared address. The Public pages switch in Account settings controls that. Turn it off and those addresses send visitors to admin sign-in, which suits an event you only ever share from your own site.
Order notifications
New paid orders email you by default. Order notifications in Account settings sets the address and how often they come. See Order notifications.
Good to know
- A paid ticket type stays hidden from buyers until payments are connected, along with anything else priced. That covers the event page, your widgets, and the form a buyer uses to change a pending order. When you're signed in you'll see the event page in full, with a line across the top saying so.
- See How booking works for what the checkout and order pages look like from their side.
