How your event looks when you share it

Set the picture and the words a link to your event carries into a chat or a post.

6 steps · About 3 minutes

  1. Open the event's Settings, then Sharing

    Your eventSettings
  2. Read What people see

This is the card a link to your event carries. It's built from your colors, your typeface and your artwork, with the event's name, date and venue on it.

  3. Look under How each app shows it

WhatsApp, Slack, LinkedIn and Messages each show the same card in their own way.

  4. Add your own picture

Add a picture takes a PNG or JPEG up to 10 MB, framed 1200 × 630. Yours is used in place of the card.

  5. Write your own Title and Description

Leave either one blank and the event's own name, date and venue are used.

  6. Select Save

Good to know

Apps remember the card they saw first.

Somewhere your link has already been shared keeps showing the old card. A new share picks up the new one.

  • The card shows what your event page shows. Hiding the date or the location takes them off the card too.
  • The card carries the Tito wordmark while Show “Powered by Tito” is on for this event. See Put your artwork on an event page.
  • The card is built from your design settings, so CSS you've written for your own pages isn't used on it.
  • The parameters on a link people arrive from are kept on the order they place. See See which link a ticket was sold from.
  • Title and Description translate with the rest of your event's wording, and a link opened in one of your other languages carries that language's words. See Translate the words people read.
