Open a waitlist

Let people leave their details when a ticket type is fully booked.

1. Open the ticket type's edit form and switch to Advanced

2. Under When this ticket is fully booked, choose how places are offered

   Open a waitlist and email people in order emails one person at a time, in the order they joined. The first to register gets the place. Open a waitlist and choose who gets each place emails nobody until you offer a place from the Waitlist screen.

3. If you chose to email people in order, choose how often under Email one person every

   It's how long each person has before the next person hears about a free place. An hour suits most events.

4. Select Save ticket type

5. To ask questions on the join form, select Choose what to ask under Questions on the join form

   The list holds your event's own questions. The join form always asks for a name and an email. Select Save to keep your choice.

   A place that frees up stays off your event page while anyone is waiting, and goes to the people on the list first.

   A bundle, or a ticket whose time is picked from a timetable, can’t have a waitlist.

   The choice isn’t offered for them.
