Good to know
This is a request to search engines.
The big ones honor it, and nothing can force them to. Anyone who has the address still gets the page. If you need the page itself closed, use Secret event instead.
- It covers this event's page at every address that page has. That includes the audience pages you've set up, because those are the same page at a second address.
- If your event list is itself in search results, that page names this event and links to it. To take the event off that list too, use Secret event.
- A page already in search takes a while to drop out. Search engines have to come back and look at the page again, which usually takes days, and there's no way to hurry it along.
