Move the blocks on your event page
Put the map under the tickets, or the description below them, by dragging on the page itself.
4 steps · About 3 minutes
-
From the event's sidebar, select Customize
Your eventCustomize -
Select Arrange, under the preview
Each block you can move gets a small handle above it. Everything else on the page stays where it is.
-
Drag a block by its handle, or move it with the arrows on the same handle
The page updates as soon as you let go.
-
Select Publish
Four blocks move: Date and venue, Description, Where it is and Tickets. The banner and the event name hold their place at the top.
Taking a block off the page
The eye on a handle removes a block from the page. While you are arranging, that block stays on screen, faded and marked Hidden, so you can put it back or move it somewhere else before you turn it on again. Select Done and it is gone, exactly as people see it.
The event name has an eye too, which suits an event whose banner artwork already has the name on it. If you switch the name off and have no banner, your page has no title on it. That is allowed and nothing warns you.
Tickets has no eye. It can go anywhere on the page, and it always stays on it.
Good to know
- The arrangement belongs to this event. Other events keep their own.
- Nothing reaches people until you publish, like every other change in Customize.
- A block with nothing in it does not appear on the page. Write a description in Settings and it takes the place you left it in.
- Switching Where it is off also removes the address and the directions menu that appear under the date when your venue has no map.
- Events on the classic look have a fixed page and no Arrange button. The panel says so where the button would be.
