Put a title over your banner

Show the banner with the event's title and your logo on top of it, on the event's pages and at the top of its messages.

7 steps · About 3 minutes

  1. From the event's sidebar, select Customize

    Your eventCustomize
  2. Choose the Event page screen, then the Look tab

The controls are under Banner. The event needs a banner first. See Put your artwork on an event page.

With Artwork beside Show, the event's name is always on the banner, so go straight to Title style.

  3. Switch on Event name on the banner

The banner now fills the top of the page, with your logo in the top left corner and the event's name over the picture.

  4. Open Title style and choose Where the title sits

Any of nine places: along the top, across the middle or along the bottom, each on the left, in the center or on the right.

  5. Under Logo, choose Where the logo sits

The same nine places, or Under the banner to show the logo just below the picture. If the logo and the title are both along the top, both across the middle or both along the bottom, the logo goes above the title.

  6. Set the colors

Title color is the color of the words. Color behind the picture shows while the picture loads, and in an email app that doesn't show pictures. If the title is hard to read on it, a warning appears under both controls.

  7. Select Publish

Good to know

  • Title in capitals shows the event's name in capital letters.
  • Keep in view chooses whether the top, the middle or the bottom of the picture stays visible when the banner is cropped to fit.
  • The title goes on the event page, the order and ticket pages, the invitation page, and at the top of messages and invitation emails.
  • Your account's name and the ticket motif stay under the banner. Switch them off with Account name and Ticket motif on the same tab.
  • A layout that shows the artwork beside the event's name keeps the name off the banner, so Title style doesn't show with it.
  • The title is the event's name, in the language each person is reading in. To change it, rename the event.
  • Outlook for Windows doesn't show a picture behind words, so readers using it see the title on the Color behind the picture.
