Quotes
A saved, priced selection a buyer can come back and turn into an order.
What you can do here
A quote holds no stock, so a live sale can take the places it priced and a saved quote can go out of date.
Converting a quote checks availability again and creates a pending order for the buyer to pay. Where a discount on the quote has since expired, the page offers the new price and says what it was.
Buyers generate quotes themselves at checkout on events where you turn Allow quotes instead of paying on. Those appear in this list beside the ones you compose with New quote. New quote emails the quote to an address you give it.
Good to know
A canceled quote can't be converted. Select several open quotes and choose Cancel quotes to do the same to a batch.
- A quote a buyer generates asks whatever their tickets ask. A choice of items, or a session to pick, is answered before the quote is written, and the quote holds the answer.
- A quote is in one currency. A buyer's own quote keeps the currency of the page they generated it from, and converting keeps it too.
- A quote's page opens from its private link. The reference is for talking about it.
- A quote that nobody converts expires on its own after 30 days.
