Sign your machine in to Tito
Approve the command line from a browser you are already signed in to, once per machine.
4 steps · About 2 minutes · Needs: The titogo command on your machine
The Customize studio changes the colors, images and wording on every screen people see, against a live preview and with nothing to install. Start there.
-
Run
titogo loginOn its own, it works out which Tito to sign in to from the theme folder you're standing in. To say which one yourself, run
titogo login -root https://go.tito.io. -
Open the address it prints, and enter the short code
It prints something like
https://go.tito.io/auth/deviceand a code such asBQDF-2XKM. Open it in a browser tab that's already signed in to your account, and enter the code. -
Check the code matches, then press Approve
The next screen repeats the code and says how long ago it was asked for. If that's the code on your own screen, press Approve. If it isn't, press Deny and the code stops working straight away.
Naming the machine is optional. "Work laptop" is enough, and it's how you'll recognize it later if you want to sign it out again.
-
Leave the command running while you do it
It's waiting for you. When you approve, it prints
signed inand saves the token itself, with nothing to copy back into the terminal.
Good to know
If it expires, run titogo login again for a fresh one and start where you left off.
It has your own accounts and your own permissions.
- You can sign a machine out again under Account settings then API, in the Tito command line tool section. It's your own list, so any member can revoke theirs without asking anybody.
- Revoking signs that machine out of every Tito account you belong to.
