Translate the words people read

Fill in your event's text in each language you offer, one box at a time.

5 steps · About 10 minutes · Needs: More than one language switched on

  1. Open Translations

It appears in Set up once the event offers more than one language.

    Your eventSet upTranslations
  2. Pick a language from the tabs

Each tab counts how many boxes are filled in for that language.

  3. Work down the sections

The event itself, audiences, the headings on your event page, ticket types, items and donations, the choices a ticket comes with, sessions, times, your event details, the questions you ask, and coupons.

A choice belongs to one ticket type, so the same choice offered on two tickets appears twice, with the ticket named beside each. Translate both.

  4. Type your translation and click away

It saves on its own as you go.

  5. Publish

Saving keeps a translation to yourself. Attendees read the new wording from the moment you publish.

Leaving a box blank is safe.

That wording falls back to your default language.

Translate an audience's own description even if you translate nothing else.

That audience's landing page shows it in place of the event description. Leaving it untranslated puts one paragraph of the wrong language on an otherwise translated page.
