Change what people see and read

Edit the wording and the look of every screen in the buyer's journey, against a live preview.

6 steps · About 6 minutes

  1. Select Customize in the account bar

    Your accountCustomize
  2. Choose which event to preview against

This appears once you have more than one event. You're editing the shared account defaults, and watching them through that event's own content.

  3. Browse the list of screens to jump between them

The list follows the buyer's journey, with each page, email and document under the stage it belongs to. Booking is open when you arrive. Open any other stage to see its screens:

    • Before the event
    • Paying by invoice
    • Changes
    • Refunds
    • Quotes
    • On your own site, on an event with a widget
On a smaller laptop the list is a menu in the bar above the preview. The arrows step to the screen before and after, and the screen's name opens the whole list.
  4. On Words, edit any text on the screen you're looking at

The preview changes as you type, and the line you're editing is marked in it. Save keeps the change. Some lines show once you save: one with a detail in braces, like {event}, a line with formatting, and a line with a different version for one ticket and several.

Across every screen lists every other piece of wording the event uses. It also holds the switches for what every page shows: under Where it is, the four parts of the location, which are the venue name, the street address, the map and the directions. Switching off all four takes the location block with them.

Dates and times has the switch for the date and how dates and times read, including the 12-hour clock.

Directions reach further than the event page. The same menu appears under the date on order and ticket pages, so switching it off takes it off all three. On the event page it opens from the street address, so switching it off leaves the address as plain text.

  5. On Look, adjust colors, type and images

Every event starts on Tito’s default look, including events moved over from the old Tito.

Switch Draft and Live to compare your unpublished changes against what people see right now, and desktop against mobile to check both sizes.
  6. Select Publish

Publishing is the only thing that puts studio changes in front of a booker. The number beside Publish is how many changes are saved but not live yet. Select it to see each one, what it says now and what it will say. Select a change's name to open the screen it's on.

To put one change back to what's live, select Discard beside it. The others stay waiting.

A dot in the list of screens marks each screen with a change that isn't live yet.

After you publish changes to a published event, Open the event page at the top opens the page your buyers see.

To throw unpublished changes away instead, select the number beside Publish, then Discard all.

Keep the draft backs out with everything intact.
