Sell extras alongside tickets

Offer parking, a dinner or merchandise beside the tickets, at whatever price each ticket type should pay.

6 steps · About 3 minutes

An optional add-on sits under the ticket types it's connected to, and the buyer decides whether to take it. It appears once one of those tickets is selected.

  1. Open Offerings and select New offering

  2. Pick An optional add-on

  3. Name it and set its price

Leave the price empty and it's free to add.

  4. Set Most per ticket

This caps how many one person can add for each matching ticket in their order. Leave it blank for no limit. A ticket type's own row carries Limit per ticket if you want a different cap for one of them.

  5. Say who it's for

Turn on Only offer it for certain ticket types and pick the ones you want.

  6. Select Save

A different price for different tickets

Charge some ticket types a different price opens a price box per ticket type. A blank box charges the price above. Type 0 to give it away, which is how a VIP ticket comes with a free t-shirt.

Turn the switch off again and everyone pays the price above.

You can also set this one ticket at a time. On the ticket type's page, find the offering under What comes with it and select Edit how they get it in its menu. The price and the way it works belong to that one ticket type, so an offering can be included with one ticket and an add-on on another.

Selling it on its own

People can add it without a ticket puts it on your event page in its own right, and somebody can buy it with no ticket at all.

A deadline of its own

An item or a donation can sell for part of your ordering window. Open it, select Edit, then Advanced.

go.tito.io/acme/summer-fetes-summer-fete/admin/products/5?tab=advanced

Sale starts is when buyers can first order it. Leave it blank and it's on sale straight away.

Sale ends is when it comes off sale. Leave it blank and it comes off when registration closes for the whole event. Give it a date after that one and buyers can order it on its own once tickets have closed. See Decide when registration closes.

Asking a question about it

Ask a question about each one attaches questions you've already written. Each one is asked once for every one they buy, so two t-shirts means two sizes. See Create a question.

Asking adds a step to your checkout.

Good to know

  • An item somebody is buying outright is refused when there isn't enough left.
  • Turning on Ask which ticket each one is for as well means each one has to go on a ticket. Somebody buying them on their own, or buying more of them than they have tickets, is asked to add tickets first.
