Fill in Package and What it costs them
Package is what the deal is called. What it costs them is the fee you agreed. Type the whole figure, whatever was in it. Tito doesn't work it out from the tickets, so a package covering a stand, a talk and thirty places is one number.

Write What’s in it
Your own words, in the shape you'd put them in the contract. It shows on the partner's page under the fee.
-
Choose When the fee is due
Before they can hand anything out keeps the portal closed until the fee is paid. By a date you set opens it straight away, and Date the fee is due is the day you agreed.
The date shows on the partner's portal page, so you're both working to the same day.
-
Select Create portal, or Save if it already existed
Leaving What it costs them blank charges nothing. That's how every portal worked before this, and it still does. -
Send the portal link as you normally would
Their page opens on the package, the fee, and a button to pay it.
On Before they can hand anything out, everything else waits. They can't send links, share a registration address, upload a spreadsheet or order extras until the fee is settled. Tickets you've already handed out through this portal keep working.
On By a date you set, they can do all of that from the moment they open the link. Their page shows the date the fee is due.
-
When they pay, the portal opens
They can pay by card, or by whatever else the event takes.
If the money reaches you another way, a bank transfer or a cheque, select Open the order on the portal. The fee was raised as an ordinary order, and Mark as paid on it settles the fee.
The fee is one order like any other, so it has an invoice, a receipt and a refund, and it counts in your reports. If the date passes and the fee isn't paid, the portal stops handing anything out and the partner's page asks for the fee. Tickets it already handed out keep working, and so do links already sitting in a guest's inbox. Revoking those is up to you. You'll see it on the portal, and the portal's own history records the date that went by. -
To give them longer to pay
Open Edit, pick a later Date the fee is due, and save. The portal opens again. The fee itself doesn't change, and nothing is billed again.
-
To change the fee after you've sent the link
The price stops moving once a bill exists, so the portal and the money can't disagree. Select Open the order, cancel it, and you can change the fee again. The next time they go to pay, they get the new one.
