Leave Stop attendees changing their details switched off
It is off to begin with, so there is nothing to do here unless you want to take those changes away.
That covers two things. Each attendee can correct their own name, email and answers from their ticket. The buyer can correct the questions asked once of them at checkout, from the order page. Switching it on leaves both to you.

Tick Let people change or cancel their own orders if you want that too
They do it from their own order page, where Cancel tickets opens one screen holding both choices: take a single ticket off the order, or cancel the whole thing. Each still asks them to confirm. The refund goes back to the card they paid with, and anything they added to the order later goes back to the payment it was made with. On an order that cost nothing, the pages say it was canceled and mention no refund at all. People can change or cancel until sets its own cutoff, separate from the one above.

Select Save
Self-service refunds move money with no review step.It never touches invitation or portal orders, and the links only appear where Tito can send the money back. Somebody whose order was recorded as complimentary, or paid offline, sees no self-service links and has to come to you. The same goes for canceling a whole order with an extra you recorded as paid offline.
A ticket nobody is named on says what it still needs. Its page says that no one is named yet, and where the ticket type asks questions, how many are still to answer. One Add a name button covers both. It opens the details page, which holds the name, the email and the questions together.
The details form's button says what it will do.It reads Assign ticket on a ticket nobody is named on yet, and Save changes on a ticket that already has somebody named.
The form a buyer fills in after paying assigns all their tickets at once, so its button reads Assign tickets, or Assign ticket on an order of one.
You can reword each button in Customize, on the Words tab for its page.
Attendees can pass a ticket to somebody else.Their details page has Assign to someone else under the Save changes button. It asks for the new person's name and email, then confirms before anything moves. If you turned on Its questions answered before it’s passed on, it also asks that ticket's questions for the new person, and the ticket doesn't move until the required ones are answered. The new address gets its own ticket.
The old attendee's link keeps working until the new person opens their ticket, so a mistyped address can be put right. Until then their link shows where the ticket was sent and offers Send it to a different address, which stops the link to the wrong address at once. When the new person opens the ticket, the old link stops working and the old attendee gets an email saying the ticket has moved. Only the new person's ticket has a code that works at the door.
A buyer who passes a ticket on from their order page still has the order, so the link the old attendee was using stops working straight away.
A buyer can unassign a ticket from their order.A ticket opened from the order page has an Assign to someone else button. Its page offers two choices, Give it to someone new and Leave it unassigned for now. Leaving it unassigned takes the name and email off the ticket. The old attendee's link and wallet pass stop working at once, and they get an email saying the ticket is no longer theirs. The ticket goes back to needing a name, ready to assign again. A box clears their answers, and it starts ticked. A ticket that has been checked in can't be unassigned.
The email to the old attendee follows the same Automated emails switch as the one a reassigned ticket sends, on After registering.
You can switch Assign to someone else off in Customize, on the Words tab for the ticket details page. That removes it from the ticket page too. People can still pass a ticket on by typing the new person's name and email into the details form, which confirms before anything moves.
The buyer's order page opens the details of a ticket that still needs them.Selecting a ticket with no name yet, or with questions left to answer, opens its details page, where the buyer can name the person it's for and answer your questions. Saving goes back to the order page. A finished ticket opens the ticket itself, with its QR code, and its edit link also comes back to the order page. In your widget, selecting a ticket always opens the ticket itself.
An assignment offers to clear the previous person's answers. The box is ticked, so the new attendee starts fresh and is asked your questions again. Whoever is passing the ticket on can untick it to send the answers with it. Details you recorded yourself, like a seat number, stay either way. With Its questions answered before it’s passed on turned on, there's no box, and the new person's answers always replace the old ones. The same choice is on your own reassignment, under Attendees.
The details form shows what's already on the ticket. The name, email and answers on the ticket are filled in, so somebody correcting one thing doesn't retype the rest. Passing the ticket on is the exception: that page starts with empty name and email boxes.
A buyer adding tickets is asked about the new people. If you ask questions about attendees, the buyer answers them for each ticket they add, before anything is charged. Required questions have to be answered to get past that step, the same as at checkout. Set When attendees answer your questions and say who each ticket is for to After the order is confirmed and the questions wait for the order page instead.
A PayPal buyer can remove a ticket but not cancel the whole order.Removing refunds against the PayPal payment. Canceling the whole order is card-only for now, so a PayPal buyer has to come to you for that.
You can share one link that lets buyers change their ticket. It's under Changing tickets, as Link for buyers to change their ticket, ready for your FAQ or your emails. Whoever opens it enters their email address and we email them. The person who booked gets a link to change the ticket type on their order. An attendee whose ticket somebody else booked gets their own ticket, and a line saying the person who booked can change it. An address with no ticket for the event is sent nothing.
The booker manages the whole order is under Confirmations and calendar on the same page.It switches the order page to a single code covering every ticket. Scanning it at a door opens a group check-in with counts per type. Per-ticket assignment emails stop sending.
