Cap how many one person can buy

Set the most of one ticket type a single order can include.

1. Open the type's edit form and switch to Advanced

2. Under Registration, switch on Cap tickets per order

   Tickets per order underneath takes the number. Leave the switch off and the ticket keeps the limit of the page it's sold on. The event page sets no limit, so one order can include as many as there are left. An audience page sets its own.

3. Select Save ticket type

   It's a per-order cap.

   The same booker can come back and place a second order. To give named people an allowance each, use an invitation list. See Invitations.

   Free tickets earned by another rule still count against the cap. See Give a ticket away with another one.
