Show prices with or without tax

Sell to consumers or to businesses, and show the price each of them expects.

1. Open Account settings then Checkout

2. Choose under Price display

   Show prices including tax suits selling to consumers, where the price shown is what they pay and says which tax it includes, for example “Includes VAT (25%)”. Show prices excluding tax suits selling to businesses, where listings show the price before tax with the rate beside it.

3. Select Save

   The order summary beside the tickets and the Your order list at checkout list items the same way whichever you choose. Each item shows its price before any tax added on top, and tax added on top follows as its own line for each rate. Tax already in the prices is noted under the total, one line for each rate, as in “Includes €11.55 VAT (13.5%)”. When an order mixes rates, each item names its own.

   This applies to every event set to Use the account setting. To choose for one event, open that event’s Settings, then Checkout.
