Keep buyers on your own site at checkout

Choose whether buyers pay on your own pages or on Stripe's.

1. Open the event's Settings, then Payment

2. Under Where buyers pay, pick one

   On Stripe’s page sends the buyer to Stripe. On your pages keeps them on your own site, and a new event starts on it.

3. Select Save

   Paying on your pages needs the Stripe publishable key on the account.

   Choose it before that's in place and the panel says buyers will get Stripe's page for now.

Good to know

• With On your pages, the payment step looks like the rest of your checkout. The card fields take your event's colors, fonts and edges, and the order is shown beside them.
• The form on your pages needs JavaScript. Underneath it is a button that pays for the same order on Stripe's page, so a buyer whose browser can't run the form still gets through.
• Widgets work with both. With On your pages, a buyer pays inside the widget and stays on your website. A payment method that opens its own page, such as Klarna or a bank, brings the buyer back to the widget afterwards, and so does On Stripe’s page.
• An event that used Stripe's own form on your pages uses On your pages now, with nothing for you to change.
