One panel for what the event is, how it sells, and how it takes money.
What you can do here
Every event has one settings panel. Each section in it is one page with its own Save. General opens first: what the event is called, where it is, and when it happens.
The section list beside it holds Registration (when registration closes, and quotes), Payment (every way this event takes money), After registering (what someone can change once they've ordered), Languages, Event details (things about the event you'd otherwise retype), Taxes, Invitations and Features.
Venue and map
Location holds two fields. Put the place's name in Venue and its street address in Address. Where a map search is available, pick the real place from the results. Once a place is picked, you can open the address fields to fix the wording. The map pin stays where it is. Search for a different venue starts again.
People see the venue's name beside the date. Everything else about the location is in one block under the description: the map, the street address, and a line of links that opens the place in their own maps app. Customize is where you choose which of those four they see. See Customize this event's pages.
Where more than one mapping service is set up for your account, Which service draws the map on your event page picks between them.
Good to know
- Changing the Web address moves the event's page and its admin addresses in one step. The old address keeps working.
- The registration window and quotes are on Registration. Every way this event takes money is on Payments. Attendee changes, self-service refunds and the order QR code are on After registering. Taxes are on Taxes, and multi-language setup on Languages and translations.
