Remove a tax rate

Take a rate out of your library, or out of the pickers if something still uses it.

1. Open Settings, then Taxes

   Your eventSettings

2. Select Delete or Archive next to the rate

3. Confirm on the page that opens

   The row says which one you'll get. A rate nothing is using says Delete, and that removes it. A rate a ticket type or item points at says Archive.

What archiving does

An archived rate leaves the pickers and keeps taxing everything still using it. It moves to Archived rates at the foot of the page, where Restore brings it back.

Good to know

• Orders and invoices already issued keep the tax they were charged, whichever one you pick. They store their own copy of the rate.
• You can remove a rate from the account's Settings, under Taxes, as well as from any event's.
