Task · Your first event

Create your event

Create an event from a name, dates and a currency, and get a public page you can share.

5 steps · About 2 minutes

  1. Select New event

It's in the dashboard header from your very first visit.

    Your accountEvents
  2. Give it a Name

The Web address underneath fills in as you type, and you can change it whenever you like. Name the event in any language.

    go.tito.io/acme/admin/events/new
  3. Say when it happens

Fill in the start and end dates, with times unless you tick All day. If the dates aren't fixed yet, leave them blank or select Enter a placeholder to show something like "June 2027" instead. Venue is optional and shows on the event page.

Timezone is the one your times are published in. It starts from the timezone your last event used. For your first event it starts from Your timezone in Edit profile, or from your browser's if you haven't set one.

  4. Choose the Currency

Every price on the event is in this one currency, and it can't be changed once the event is created. Prices are typed the way the currency writes them: whole numbers for a currency with no smaller unit, such as yen, and up to three decimal places for one that has them, such as dinars.

  5. Select Create event

Your event has a public page immediately, with one free ticket type on it.

Rename it, reprice it or add more from inside the event's own admin.

A web address you type yourself has rules.

Lowercase letters, digits and dashes, up to 60 characters. A handful of words are reserved because they clash with real pages. If you leave the field alone you'll get a usable address every time, whatever script the name is in.
