Sign in for the first time
Set up your authenticator app and your recovery codes the first time you sign in.

Tito accounts have no password. You sign in with a link sent to your email, then a 6-digit code from an app. The code stops someone who has got into your email from getting into your account.

Enter your email on the sign-in page
A link arrives by email. It lasts 15 minutes and works once. If it hasn't arrived after a minute, check your spam folder, then use Send it again.

Get an app that makes codes
If you already have one, choose I’ve already got an authenticator app. If you don't, Get Google Authenticator opens the free app in a new tab. Any authenticator app works, and a password manager that does one-time codes works too.

Add Tito to the app
Scan the QR code with the app, or use Copy key and paste the setup key in by hand.

Type the code the app shows, then Confirm and finish sign-in
Codes change every 30 seconds, so type the one on screen at the time.

Save your ten recovery codes
Download as a text file or Copy codes, then put them somewhere you can find later.
This is the only time the recovery codes are shown.There's no way to see them again or generate a new set. If you lose both your authenticator app and these codes, contact Tito support to reset two-factor on your account.
When a code won't work
If Tito says the code is right but arrived expired, the clock on the device running your authenticator app is out of step. Set its date and time to update automatically, then try the next code.
You have 15 minutes from following the email link to finish. If it runs out, you're back at the sign-in page and can start again. Anything you already added to your authenticator app still works.
