Your account
Contacts
An address book of everyone you have sold to, across every event.
What you can do here
Contacts is built from activity you already have, with no separate data entry. You switch it on when you want it.
Once it's on, open a row for that contact's own page. It opens on what that person has done: every order, ticket and invitation matched to their email, each linking into the event admin that manages it. Details underneath holds the rest, and where the same email also has a booker account it links straight to it.
Tags and lists
A tag is a word you file somebody under. A list is a group you pick by hand. Both are on a contact's own page under Details, and selecting either chip narrows the address book to everyone who shares it.
To change them, select Edit. Tags go in one box, separated by commas. Lists have a switch each.
Building a list the other way round, from the list's own page or by ticking rows in the address book, is in Build a contact list.
Good to know
- Turning the switch off stops gathering and hides the address book, and keeps everything. Turning it back on picks up where it left off, plus anything that happened while it was off.
- Activity at the foot of a contact's page says who changed that record and when. It answers a different question from the orders and tickets above it, which are what the person did.
