Your account
Data residency
See where your account's data lives, and move it to another region.
What you can do here
Data residency is under Account settings. It shows which region your account's data lives in, and lets an owner move it to another one.
Choosing it at signup
New accounts choose a region on the Where should your data live? step of signup, when more than one is on offer. The preparing page that follows names the region while the account is set up, and it can still be moved later from Data residency.
What lives where
Events, orders, tickets and uploaded files are stored and backed up in the region shown. Sign-in, email sending and payment processing always run from Tito's systems in Ireland.
Who can move it
Moving an account is owner-only. Anyone who can open Account settings can still open Data residency and see where the account's data lives, but the Move to picker doesn't appear for them.
Moves Tito support starts
Tito support can schedule a move for your account. Data residency says so, and an owner can still cancel it before the cutover.
Watching a move happen
Data residency keeps itself up to date while a move is under way, so there's nothing to reload by hand. Near the end, the account's own process stops and starts again on the new region's servers, and the page can go briefly unavailable right at that moment. It comes back on its own within a few seconds.
Read it over the API
GET /api/v1/account returns the account's slug, name and current region.
The API reference has the full shape.
