Limit a colleague to certain events

Give somebody named events, or every event without the account-wide settings.

4 steps · About 2 minutes

  1. Open Account settings then Team

    Your accountSettings
    go.tito.io/acme/admin/settings
  2. Select Whole account on the person's row

  3. Choose Only these events and tick the ones they look after

  4. Select Save

Their role doesn't change. An admin limited to a few events is still an admin, and what changes is where those things apply. They see those events on their account home and on their events list, and they can open them.

A list of events is a list you keep. An event you create next month is covered once you come back and tick it, where an event added to a series somebody is limited to is covered straight away.

Finding an event in a long list

The list offers 50 events and then asks you to search. Search events matches on name and on web address, and says how many matched when there are more than it can hold.

Searching reloads the list, so tick and save before you search again.

Ticks you've made and not yet saved are lost when the results come back, including boxes you've just unticked, which come back ticked. Most browsers ask you to confirm first. Save one set of changes before searching for the next.

Every event, and nothing else

Every event is the third choice. It covers every event you have and every event you create later, with nothing to revisit, and it stops at the account. Account settings, Customize, custom pages, workflows, contacts and buyers leave that person's account bar and don't open.

Good to know

An owner always has the whole account.

The question is only asked of other roles.

Still stuck?

You can let someone at Tito sign in to your account for a set time, and see every visit they made.
