Turn a quote into a real order

Turn a saved quote into a pending order the buyer can pay.

1. Open the quote from the Quotes list

2. Select Convert to order

   This checks availability again, and re-checks any discount the quote was given.

3. If the discount has expired, confirm Convert at the new price

   Converting always asks first when the total has moved. The prices you quoted are fixed, so a ticket type whose price changed since still converts at the quoted price.

   Conversion is blocked while anything on the quote is unavailable.

   That covers a ticket type taken off sale or deleted, stock that has run out, and a session time that's full or gone. Put it back on sale or free up stock, then convert again. You can't edit a quote, so the other way through is to cancel it and quote again.

   You get an ordinary pending order.

   It can be paid any way a pending order can. A quote with nothing to pay skips the payment step entirely: converting it issues the tickets and sends the confirmation email right away, like a free registration.
