A coupon is the rule: a percentage or a fixed amount off. The codes are what buyers type. One coupon can have any number of codes, so you can give each group its own code for the same offer, each with its own limit.

Good to know
Deleting a coupon retires every one of its codes at once.
When a code that was working stops working, look at the coupon behind it first. To stop a single code, see Stop one code working.
- Codes are case-sensitive and unique to the event. Three to 128 letters, digits and dashes.
- How many times it can be used caps one code. A canceled order, or one refunded in full, gives its use back.
- Discount starts and Discount ends set the days a coupon's codes work, in the event's own timezone. Both are optional, and they cover every code under the coupon. A coupon outside its dates shows Expired or Scheduled in your list.
- A discount comes off priced tickets only, and it stops at zero.
- The event page offers the code field as soon as one of this event's codes could be used. To take the field off the page, turn off Show the promotion code field in Customize. Codes still work from the link on each code's page.
