The event has one library of files, and you choose which portals get each file. The same file can go to every portal or to one of them.

Two things have to be true before the person running a portal can open a file. The portal needs Give them files to download switched on, and the file has to be given to that portal. Miss either one and the link does nothing.

Good to know

Uploads aren't scanned for viruses.

Use this for documents you made yourself.

Downloads need file storage set up for the account. Without it the page says so and files can't be added. File questions in Custom fields need the same thing.
A file can have a name of its own, so "ex-layout.pdf" goes out as "Exhibitor Hall Layout", and that's the name it saves under.
The name and the description under it are the only things you can change after an upload, from Edit details on the file's own menu.
