Let people choose which session to attend
Set up the workshops, talks or arrival times your event runs, and say how many of them one ticket takes.
6 steps · About 4 minutes
You set the options up in one block, put that block on the tickets that get it, then say how many options a ticket takes.
-
Open Offerings and select New offering
If Offerings isn't in the sidebar, add it from All features at the foot of the sidebar list. See Features.

Pick A choice between options
Pick A bookable time slot instead when the same thing runs at several times and people are choosing when to come. See Arrival times chosen before the ticket below.
go.tito.io/acme/summer-fetes-summer-fete/admin/offerings/set-up -
Answer Things they attend
Things they get is the same screen for gifts with no times on them. See Give something away with a ticket.
-
Name the block, then name each option
A block starts with three options and Add another adds more. Use Add a description where there's something people need to know before they pick, such as what it covers or what to bring. Buyers read the description under the option's name.
go.tito.io/acme/summer-fetes-summer-fete/admin/offerings/set-up?job=chooseName this block arrives filled in, and buyers read it above the options.Clear it and the block goes by the date and time it runs instead.
Everything on this screen can be changed afterwards from the block's own Edit, including the options and the time they all run at. See Run a session more than once.
-
Say who it's for
It goes on every ticket type unless you say otherwise. Turn on Only offer it for certain ticket types and pick the ones you want.
-
Select Save
It goes on sale as soon as you save. Each block has its own On sale switch on its own page if you'd rather close it for now.
More than one set of choices
Add another time block is a second set of choices, so a morning workshop and an afternoon one are two separate picks.
Add an option that runs all day is for something that takes the whole day. It arrives as a choice a booker can decline, and as a replacement for every other block on the screen. Take it and you aren't asked about the rest.
To do the same to blocks you made separately, see Offer two things as alternatives.
How many each ticket takes
Open the block, then Edit how they get it in a ticket type's row. At least and At most are how many options one ticket takes.
- Both at 1 is a straight choice of one.
- At most 2 takes two, each held separately.
- At least 0 lets them walk past without taking anything.
Where a ticket takes more than one, the options become boxes to tick. Each one they take holds its own place, so a booker taking two is counted in both.
Ask a VIP to pick two and everyone else to pick one. Changing one leaves the other alone.
Everybody gets the same one
A block with one option doesn't ask. The event page states it under the block's name, and the ticket registers them for it. Add a second option and the question comes back.
For something with a time that everyone gets, like the afterparty, An included extra on the set-up screen is the shorter route. Answer Something they attend, give it its time, and it appears on your event page, on the ticket, and in the calendar file.
It becomes a tick box. Only the people who tick it hold a place.
Arrival times chosen before the ticket
A bookable time slot is for a museum slot or a tour, where picking when to come is the decision.
Set Places at each time, then add the days people can come. Each day is a card headed by its date, and each time is a row inside it, with when it starts, when it ends, and how many places it takes.
- Add a time adds a row to the card you're on.
- Add another day starts a new card.
- Copy the first day’s times to every day fills the rest in, ends and numbers included.
Change it to whatever the slot really runs for, a half-day workshop or a twenty-minute fitting. It's the time people read on the event page, on their ticket and in the calendar file.
Every time belongs to the same thing being booked, so a buyer picks once however many days there are.
Buyers see this one before the tickets. A choice between options comes after them, on a screen of its own.
Good to know
- Bookers are asked only about the tickets they took, so somebody who bought a conference ticket with no workshop on it is never shown the workshops.
- Tito stops the same person being booked into two things at once, and counts only what they're actually attending.
- The ticket and its email both carry a Your schedule section, with the option's name, the block it belongs to and its times.
- An attendee can move to another option from their ticket page, as long as it has room and costs the same. See Move someone to another option.
