What you can do here

New reader registers one. You need the pairing code from the reader's own screen, and Stripe set up for the account first. Nothing here works until you have.

Each reader has its own page, which is where its Door page address and PIN are. Open that address on a phone or tablet at the desk to take sales.

A sale becomes a pending order. The moment the card is approved it turns into tickets and a confirmation, the same as every other purchase.

Good to know

The door page's address is itself a secret.

Treat it like a password. Anyone who has it, plus the PIN, can ring up sales. If either one leaks, New link + PIN on the reader's Actions menu replaces both straight away and signs out any phone already on the door.

  • This whole section is owner-only, like payment settings generally. Another role sees it in the sidebar and gets the forbidden page on opening it, the list of readers included.
  • An internet-connected smart reader must belong to a Stripe location. Leave Stripe location ID blank for readers that don't need one.
  • Edit changes what a reader is called. Its Stripe pairing is what registering agreed and can't be edited here.
  • Archive closes a reader's door page straight away. Orders already taken through it keep working, and the reader's page stays, with its history.

Still stuck?

You can let someone at Tito sign in to your account for a set time, and see every visit they made.
