Ticket types
A ticket type is one of the things people choose at checkout, with its own name, price and cap.
What you can do here
An event might sell an adult ticket and a child ticket, for example, or an early bird and a standard. A type can also be priced from other types, so a family ticket can be worked out from two adults and two children. A type can have rules about what has to be bought alongside it too.
Ticket types is in Set up.
When ordering stops
The list opens with the date registration closes for the whole event. A ticket's own status can't say this: a type that still reads On sale takes no orders once that date has passed. Change opens Registration in settings, where the date is set.
Once that date has passed, the list says so at the top.
The type's own page
Open a ticket type and Questions is the first thing under the name, listing what this ticket asks its holder. What comes with it follows, listing the sessions, items and donations that come with this ticket and what each one means for the buyer.
Under those the page is one line per fact: Where it’s shown says which pages sell it, and so on down. Select a row and it opens in place, showing everything there is to choose from. A fact this ticket has nothing to say about has no line at all.
Add something, beside that heading, is the way to put something else on the ticket. It opens Add to this ticket, which lists everything the event already has that could go on this ticket. Tick what you want and press Add to this ticket. Make something new is under the list for anything you haven't made yet.
A coupon is not set from here. Which tickets a code works on belongs to the code, in Coupons.
Ticket settings is the last line, and it appears once something on this ticket has been changed from what Tito does by default. It lists what changed, and has the way to the full set of settings.
Good to know
Leave the Price blank for a free ticket and the Quantity blank for unlimited. Blank reads the same way everywhere in Tito. A Quantity of 0 is the opposite: the type shows on your event page as fully booked and nobody can take one.
Sales stop at the new number, and the tickets people already have stay valid. To take tickets back, void them from the order.
- Tickets in unpaid orders count against the cap as well as paid ones. If an order is refunded or canceled, or an unpaid one runs out of time, those tickets go back on sale on their own.
- A ticket type nobody has bought can be deleted. One somebody has bought is archived instead, and the people holding one keep their tickets. See Delete or archive a ticket type.
- Reorder, beside New ticket type, sets the order everything appears in on your event page: tickets, add-ons and donations together.
