Check you can actually take money

Before you share a paid event's link, make sure a card payment would go through.

3 steps · About 3 minutes

  1. Look for a Sandbox badge in the account bar

The badge means the connected Stripe account is a sandbox and takes no real money. Without it, the account is either connected for real payments or not connected at all.

    Your accountSettings
  2. If nothing is connected, open Account settings and then Integrations

    Select Connect there.

  3. Make a real test payment before you trust it

Stripe can say an account is connected while its own onboarding still has charges switched off. A test payment is what tells you.

A paid ticket with nothing behind it is held back from your event page.

Anything else with a price goes with it, including paid add-ons and donations. When you're signed in you'll see the page in full, with a line across the top saying what's held back. The ticket's own page, the event overview and the dashboard say so too.

A fully free event doesn't need any of this.

Still stuck?

You can let someone at Tito sign in to your account for a set time, and see every visit they made.
