Find out why nobody can order

Your event page opens but nothing can be bought. Four things stop an order, and this is the order to check them in.

Your event page keeps working when ordering is off, so the page opening tells you nothing. Check these four in order. The last one is the usual answer.

1. Check the ticket type is on sale

   Open Ticket types and look at the type you expect people to buy. On sale is a switch on the type's own page. A type that's off doesn't appear on your event page at all.

2. Check registration hasn't closed for the whole event

   Open Settings, then Registration. When to close registration closes registration for every ticket at once, and it starts on When the event ends. If the date has passed, nobody can order however the ticket types are set.

3. Check the event isn't still a draft

   An event you made by duplicating another one arrives as a draft, and its Publish button is on the event overview. A draft's address doesn't open for anybody but you.

4. Check something can take the money

   Open Account settings, then Integrations. A paid ticket with no way to pay behind it is held back from your event page, and so is anything else with a price. When you're signed in you see the page in full, with a line across the top saying what's held back.

   A secret event is a different problem.

   People can't find a secret event, but its link works and its tickets sell. If somebody has the link and still can't buy, one of the four above is the reason.

   A fully free event never needs a payment service, so the last step doesn't

   apply to it.
