Send someone a quote

Price up a selection for a buyer, at rates you can set yourself.

1. Open Quotes and select New quote

   If it isn't in the sidebar, add it from All features at the foot of the sidebar list. See Features.

2. Build the priced selection

   You can include ticket types that are off sale to everyone else, and type your own unit prices for negotiated rates. Stock and the type's public price don't change.

   An event that sells in more than one currency composes a quote in one of them.

   Priced in appears above the form, with a chip per currency. Pick one and the form reprices in it. Only what has a price in that currency appears, prices you type are read in it, and the quote converts into an order in it. If no ticket type has a price in the one you pick, Tickets says so and points you at where to set one.

3. Check what it comes to

   Quote total shows the amount before tax, each tax rate, then the total. A price you type is taxed the same way as that offering's published price.

4. Enter the recipient's email

5. Select Create and email quote

   The email goes out straight away, with a link to view, download and convert the quote.

   A ticket type has to be on sale for the quote to convert.

   Anything on the quote that's off sale when the buyer accepts blocks the conversion. Put it back on sale before then. See Turn a quote into a real order.
