Resend someone's ticket

Send an attendee their ticket email again.

5 steps · About 1 minute

  1. Open the attendee

    Your eventAttendees
    go.tito.io/acme/summer-fetes-summer-fete/admin/attendees
  2. From the menu, select Send ticket email

It's there once the ticket has somebody's name and email address on it, and while the ticket is still valid. It reads Resend ticket email if the email has been out to this address once already.

  3. Check the email, and add a note if you want one

You can change the subject and the preview text. To add a few lines under their name, select Add an optional note in the email. The note is written in the same box as a message, with bold, italic, links, headings and lists, and Insert adds their name or their ticket type. Point at the note and select Edit note to change or remove it. The note is sent with this email only.

    go.tito.io/acme/summer-fetes-summer-fete/admin/attendees/HKM5T4/resend

Select Edit this wording to change the ticket email itself in Customize.

  4. Select Send ticket email

The button reads Resend ticket email if the email has been sent to this address before. If you send the same email again within two minutes, they don't get a second copy. If you change the subject or the note, it's sent straight away.

  5. Read the line at the top of the attendee

It names the address the ticket went to. If the account has no sending address set up yet, the line says nothing was sent. See Set up your email sender.

If they never got the first one, check the address before resending.

Correcting an address sends its own email anyway. See Correct an attendee's details.
